The chakras, meaning “wheel” in sanskrit, are energy centers along our spine. Each of the 7 chakras is associated with a particular element, and help us regulate an array of processes from organ function to emotional wellbeing. In the busyness of life we can become disconnected from our subtle body, which takes its toll on us physically, mentally, and emotionally.
September 16: Part 1 of this workshop, we will focus on the first 3 chakras (root, sacral plexus, & solar plexus) and move through standing poses, hip openers, core work and arm balances.
September 30: Part 2 will focus on the upper 4 chakras (heart, throat, third eye & crown) as we explore inversions, back bends, breath work and relaxation. Join Alex for this full spectrum experience!
