Over the past couple of weeks I have been reading Aim True. I have to say that it was an empowering journey of self love, practice and good healthy food. Each chapter was written from an honest place that you can feel that author has been there herself. Here are my favorite parts that I like to share.
Love Yourself Everyday: I took a glass safe magic marker and wrote on my bathroom mirror everyday an word or a quote about what I like about myself. It was kind of strange at first I have to admit but after a few days I started to look forward to what I was going to write. It was a nice reminder of being kind to myself.
Self Love Mantra: I honor my body with these activities. I'm beautiful in my essence. I am powerful in my heart. I am open in my mind. I'm confidents and unstoppable in my actions.
Calm Down Practice: It was a cooling practice to do right before bed. Some seated and supine poses to do right before my evening routine.
Kick Ass Kale Salad: Kale, Carrots, Capers, Onion and Shallots with a fresh dressing. SO DELISH
